He was born in Artvin in 1977. He finished primary and secondary school in Ankara and high school in Istanbul. Between 1995-1999, he studied at Istanbul University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Librarianship. He began try to writing with short stories during his secondary school years. He continued this work at various times. During his university years, the Children’s Literature course attracted a lot of attention. He has been writing children’s stories since 1998.
